The division rivalry between the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins just got a lot more real.
Odell Beckham Jr. has caused some serious waves for the NFL, but not only for his impeccable talent. His mouth has gotten him into some trouble, and his beef with Josh Norman has carried over into the offseason.
No one can forget the scuffle that took place between the former Panters cornerback and the Giants wide receiver. Since Norman was traded to the Redskins, OBJ will have the pleasure of facing him at least twice a year.
In an interview for GQ’s August edition, Beckham had a lot to say about Norman. “If I wasn’t playing him twice a year, maybe people wouldn’t bring it up as much,” Beckham said. “But now it’ll be a lot more media attention for him, attention that I don’t really look for, attention that I don’t need. The reason he’s become so relevant is because of me.”
The two will be reuniting on September 25th for the first time since their scuffle, and after OBJ’s statement, I think it will be pretty intense.
